STAGE 9 - Horsey to Belton: Distance 16.60 miles

9a. From the changeover continue straight on for 3.25 miles through West Somerton to Winterton on Sea.
9b. stage 1bBear right at the village church (TG 490 194) and carry on for a further 3.8 miles through Hemsby towards Caister.
9c. stage 1dOn the approach to Caister take the first left at the roundabout (TG 513 141), signed 'Police' and 'Caister Holiday Centre' and continue for 1.5 miles to the traffic lights.
9d. stage 1bstage 1bTurn left at the traffic lights (TG 520 122) and go straight over the first mini roundabout. At the second mini roundabout bear right into High Street. ⚠ Take extra care when crossing the mini roundabouts.
9e. stage 1bAt the third mini roundabout (TG 522 120) go straight on into Yarmouth Road.
9f. stage 1fAt the major roundabout (TG 523 110) turn left on to the A149 and continue for 1.9 miles towards Great Yarmouth. ⚠ Beware of fast moving traffic. Use the verge where possible.

9h. Follow South Quay past the Star Hotel on the right hand side to the bridge over the river Yar (TG 521 075).
9i. stage 1bTurn left, go 300 metres over the bridge and stay in the left hand lane to the traffic lights.
9j. stage 1bTurn left at the traffic lights (TG 519 073) signed 'Southtown'.
9k. stage 1oContinue for 1.5 miles straight on, leaving the quay on the left hand side (join A143 signed Beccles and Gorleston) to the roundabout.
9l. stage 1pAt the roundabout (TG 523 051) take the second exit, signed 'Diss A143' to pass under the bridge. Continue on the A143.
9m. stage 1qstage 1qJust before the "New Roundabout Ahead" sign, runners and cyclists should bear left onto the pedestrian path. Cross the approaching road (Browston Lane) and continue on the left hand side of the path for 1.2 miles to the changeover (TG 514 023). ⚠ Beware of approaching runners and cyclists. Vehicles may leave their runners and head towards the changeover by turning left at the roundabout signed 'Lowestoft (A12) /Business Park'.

Runners should keep to footpaths through Great Yarmouth.
