STAGE 6 - Cromer to Mundesley: Distance 7.90 miles

6a. stage 1bFrom the changeover continue straight ahead for 30 metres on the grass to the fence and turn right.
6b. stage 1bFollow the fence for 25 metres then turn left to follow the path.
6c. stage 1dContinue to the T-junction and turn left.
6d. stage 1bstage 1bTurn right at the shelter on to the cliff walk, then turn left down the zig-zag slope to the promenade (TG 213 424).
6e. stage 1bTurn right and continue for 0.7 miles on the promenade. Going past the pier take care to dog-leg at the slipway and the new cafe/museum area to stay on the promenade. Continue to the end of the promenade. ⚠ Cycling on the promenade is not permitted. Beware of pedestrian congestion.
6f. stage 1fAt the end of the tarmaced promenade turn right up the zig-zag path behind beach hut No 54 (TG 223 421). At the top turn left and follow the cliff walk for 400 metres.
6g. stage 1bAs the houses end continue straight ahead for 600 metres following an obvious path.
6h. stage 1hIgnore all side paths and on arriving at an open valley continue for a further 50 metres to a fenced area. Turn right on to a minor path (possibly overgrown).
6i. stage 1iClimb 80 metres up the steep bank to the lighthouse (TG 230 415).
6j. stage 1jaSkirt round to the left of the lighthouse and go straight ahead on to the tarmac road.
6k. stage 1k Follow the road for 500 metres down through the golf course to Mundesley Road (TG 231 412) and turn left. Cyclist/support vehicle should meet their runner at the golf club car park.⚠ Caution main road.
6l. stage 1kcycleFollow the main road for 6 miles to Mundesley via Overstrand, Sidestrand and Trimmingham. The changeover (one mile from the first 'Mundesley Village' sign) (TG 315 367) is at Coronation Hall on the outskirts of Mundesley village.
